Warmest greetings and wishes for happiness and health to my fellow Wildcats! Hope to see you all on June 14-15 2024! I am living life in Washington State. Very healthy, and happy.

After 30 active-duty Army years, I retired in 2011. I spent two years in the combat zone and wrote a book about that, The Come as You Are War.

I am now an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner but have opted to teach nursing currently, which I absolutely love.

Between my part time teaching gig and my many hobbies, I keep extremely busy. I still mountaineer, at a slow pace. My group bags a state high point every summer. An exceedingly dumb sport at my age.

I have much to be thankful for, including my friends. I truly thank the Lord for all he has done for me. And he has done so despite my many stumbles, failures and mistakes. Also, there were many noble friends influencing me by example and word for which I am grateful. I hope those friends are reading this. Take care, all.

Comment: After years away, I'm back in Clarksville. My husband, Rich, is an Episcopal Priest at a Parish in KY, so I'm a "commuter wife". My father is still living, but is 89 and in bad health, so I stay in Clarksville during the week and go up to church on the weekend.

We have two sons, J.D. and Kyle. J.D. has a Doctorate in Applied Mathematics from UNC Chapel Hill and has a research post-Doc position at University of NV, Reno. Kyle is finishing his first year at Seminary in Alexandria, Va, where his father went.

Comment: Moved to MO in 2022 after husband retired so we could be closer to our oldest son, his wife, & our coming grandson, who'll turn 1 January of 2024. Our youngest son & his wife live in NY right now & will probably move around some, so MO was our best bet. I MISS Tennessee!!!

I'm looking so forward to our 50th, tho it seems like we just graduated last year & had our whole lives ahead of us. Now, our whole lives are behind us! And so many have gone ahead. I pray for those & our class every day. See y'all in June!!
