| Comment: Hi Classmates! It is too cool to see the before and now pics. Just after graduation, I started working in a boot heel factory, and never gave college a second thought. After only a few months, I quit the factory and enrolled at Austin Peay. I never intended to work in education, but the good Lord provided a better path. That career lasted 26 years, and six different schools. I lived in Clarksville until 2017, when I remarried and moved to Murfreesboro. I enjoy many hobbies, but have always been a motorcycle enthusiast. Being an educator, I was never able to "get over the hump" financially, but I had enough to provide for my family. I retired from the classroom in 2013, and worked at short intervals as a medical appointment clerk, a lumber yard "guy", and a Fedex "guy". I had four children, but lost a son to gun violence in 2020. I have tried to live a full life, keeping the main things, the main things. I was saddened to see some of my very best friends growing up, like John Henry Smith, are no longer with us. But we are here, and we all choose the paths that we follow.
